Founded in 2007, Evamere Entertainment is a New York City-based film and theatrical production company led by veteran producer John N. Hart Jr.

Over his career Mr. Hart has produced over 17 films and more than 12 Broadway productions. These films have received 7 Academy Award nominations, 10 Golden Globe nominations, and 16 Independent Spirit Award nominations.  His Broadway productions have won over 30 Tony awards and personally garnered him 4 Tonys for best production as well as multiple Drama Desk, Drama League, Obie, Lucille Lortell, and Outer Critics Circle awards.

Evamere is committed to bringing essential stories to life on stage and on screen by developing, producing, and financing projects we believe are necessary additions to the cultural conversation.

We strive to give writers and directors the space, environment, and support needed to nurture their craft and talent.

John N. Hart, Jr. | Founder & CEO

Over four decades in the entertainment industry, John Hart has produced critically acclaimed feature films and Tony Award winning theatrical productions. His film credits include Boys Don’t Cry, You Can Count on Me, and Revolutionary Road, while his theatre credits include Once (2012 winner of 8 Tony Awards), The Band’s Visit (2018 winner of 10 Tony Awards and the Grammy for Best Musical Theater Album), A Bronx Tale, The Who's Tommy, Hamlet with Ralph Fiennes, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying starring Matthew Broderick, Annie Get Your Gun starring Bernadette Peters, and the record-breaking revival of Chicago. John is an alumnus of Dartmouth College.
